Thanks for taking the time to write the review on code blocks. I’m not the first to try new things, let others find the bugs but I hate working with Visual Studio 2008. Sounds like C:b is worth downloading and taking a look at.

Glad you found it helpful. I have been using C::B for sometime now and pretty much doing all my C++ RnD work using the IDE as of now.

To be honest, I am still using VC Express 9.0 for the game, but there is a very good chance I will be moving all development to C::B once the game gets shipped. Especially if I plan to port the game and the engine to Linux (later on).

It does. You have to change a configuration file. Try to find an answer at the CB forums.

Of course that works! I said the IDE (via the interface provided in “Options”) doesn’t allow me to set Ctrl+[any function key] shortcut. I did not say you couldn’t do it. I was reviewing it, no offense intended.
